Trek along the India-Nepal border

Day 1: Drive from Srinagar to Aru (2,450 m)

• Drive: ~105 km / 4–5 hours

• Route: Srinagar → Pahalgam → Aru

• Acclimatize, explore Aru village

• Stay: Campsite/homestay at Aru

Day 2: Trek Aru → Lidderwat (2,780 m)

• Trek: ~10–11 km | 5–6 hours

• Trail: Pine forests, riverside walk, gradual ascent

• Highlights: Lidder river, Gujjar settlements

• Stay: Tent camping near Lidderwat meadow

Day 3: Lidderwat → Shekwas (3,300 m)

• Trek: ~6–7 km | 4–5 hours

• Trail: Open meadows, gentle climbs

• Views: Alpine flowers, mountain streams

• Stay: Camp at Shekwas meadow

Day 4: Shekwas → Tarsar Lake (3,800 m)

• Trek: ~5–6 km | 4–5 hours

• Trail: Moderate ascent to the turquoise Tarsar Lake

• Highlight: Camp right beside the lake with mountain reflections

• Stay: Tarsar lakeside camp

Day 5: Tarsar → Sundarsar (3,900 m) → Marsar Viewpoint → Return to Sundarsar

• Trek: ~10–12 km round trip | 6–7 hrs

• Trail: Cross the Tarsar Pass, descend to Sundarsar

• Marsar is visible from a ridge (no camping allowed at Marsar)

• Return and stay at Sundarsar camp

Day 6: Sundarsar → Homwas (3,400 m)

• Trek: ~10 km | 5–6 hours

• Retrace trail via Shekwas

• Descend into the Lidder valley

• Stay: Homwas campsite

Day 7: Homwas → Aru → Drive to Srinagar

• Trek: ~11 km | 4–5 hours

• Complete descent to Aru

• Drive back to Srinagar (~4–5 hrs)

• Trip ends by late evening

• Cancel before 30 days of trek start date and get full refund after deduction of 1.99% payment processing fee.
• Cancel before 15 days of trek start date and get refund after deduction of 20% of total trek fee.
• Cancel before 10 days of trek start date and get refund after deduction of 40% of total trek fee.
• Cancel before 5 days of trek start date and get refund after deduction of 60% of total trek fee.
• Trek fee is non-refundable if you cancel within 4 days before trek start date.
